Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains in plain English what personal information we collect through tomcasarotti.com and our services, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
Who we are
Tomas Casarotti, sole proprietor (entreprise individuelle), operating as Bâtisseurs de Croissance / Revenue Growth Builders (“RGB”, “we”, “us”), NEQ 2271500110, 521 Lartigue, Laval QC H7N 3T6, Canada. Email: hello@tomcasarotti.com.
We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector as updated by Law 25, and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We offer our services only outside Quebec, to clients in the rest of Canada and the United States, and we don’t market to Quebec residents. Because we’re based in Laval, Quebec, we apply Quebec’s Law 25 to all the personal information we handle, wherever you live.
Person in charge of personal information
Under Quebec’s Law 25, the person in charge of the protection of personal information is:
- Name: Tom Casarotti
- Email: hello@tomcasarotti.com
- Mail: 521 Lartigue, Laval QC H7N 3T6, Canada
Contact Tom about any question, request or complaint about your personal information.
What we collect and why
- Email sign-ups (MailerLite): your name and email, so we can send the emails you asked for.
- The free Scorecard (Google Forms): your name, email and answers, so we can send your results.
- The free 45-minute YouTube Client-Acquisition Roadmap Session (Google Calendar): see “Booking a Roadmap Session” below.
- The RGB Accelerator (paid): your billing name, email, address and order details, to take payment, send receipts and keep tax records. Card payments go through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- The Skool community: your profile, posts and activity, to run the community. Skool also has its own privacy policy.
- Program work: what you share during a program, used only to deliver that program.
- Messages: what you send to hello@tomcasarotti.com, to reply and keep a record.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting and security tools, to keep the site safe and working.
We collect only what we need for these purposes. We don’t sell personal information. Our site and services are meant for people aged 18 or older, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Consent
We ask for your consent before we collect, use or share your personal information, unless the law allows otherwise. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@tomcasarotti.com. If you do, we may be unable to provide some services, such as a booked session.
Booking a Roadmap Session
When you book the free 45-minute YouTube Client-Acquisition Roadmap Session, the Google Calendar booking page on our hello@tomcasarotti.com account collects:
- your name and email;
- the date and time you pick;
- your answers to the booking questions.
We use this to confirm the session, prepare for it, send reminders and hold the call on Google Meet. Google stores this information under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We don’t add you to our email list because you booked a session unless you separately agree.
Emails and CASL
- We send marketing emails only to people who gave express consent, for example by ticking an unticked box and confirming by email. Saying no never stops you from getting what you asked for, such as your Scorecard results.
- Every email identifies the sender, Tomas Casarotti operating as Revenue Growth Builders, and gives our mailing address, 521 Lartigue, Laval QC H7N 3T6, Canada, and a contact email.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. We honour unsubscribes promptly, and always within 10 business days, at no cost to you.
- We keep a record of when, where and how you consented, and of the wording you agreed to.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Our site runs on WordPress and may use these kinds of cookies and similar tools:
- Essential: needed for the site and its forms to work, and for site administrators to log in.
- Performance and caching: help pages load faster (for example, through our caching tools).
- Security: help protect the site against attacks and misuse (for example, through our firewall).
Services we use on the site, such as our email sign-up form provider, may also receive your IP address and browser details when their content loads. If we ever add a tool that tracks, locates or profiles you, it will stay off until you agree, and we will update this policy first.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop some parts of the site from working.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with providers that help us run the business, and only for that work:
- Namecheap: website hosting.
- Google: email, Calendar booking, Forms and Meet.
- MailerLite: sign-up forms and emails.
- Stripe: card payments.
- Skool: the community.
- Professional advisers, such as an accountant, where needed for billing and tax records.
- AI assistant tools that help us draft emails and organize notes. Where possible we switch off model training on our data, and we never put card details into them. A person reviews everything that goes out.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
Transfers outside Quebec
Some of our providers, including Google, MailerLite and Stripe, store and process information outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States. Before sending information outside Quebec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected, and we rely on each provider’s contract and data protection terms. While your information is outside Canada, authorities there may be able to access it under local law.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
You can:
- ask whether we hold information about you, and get a copy (access);
- ask us to fix it if it’s wrong or incomplete (correction);
- withdraw your consent;
- ask us to stop sharing your information, or to delete or de-index it, where the law allows;
- ask for information you gave us in a structured, commonly used format.
To make a request, email hello@tomcasarotti.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are. We answer in writing within 30 days, free of charge. If we refuse, we explain why and tell you how to complain.
Complaints: please contact us first. You can also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Security and incidents
We use strong passwords, two-factor authentication, HTTPS, a firewall, regular backups and access limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure. We record every confidentiality incident. If one creates a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d’accès à l’information, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where required, and the people affected.
US visitors
We don’t sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. US visitors can use the rights above by emailing hello@tomcasarotti.com.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For important changes, we also tell you by email or with a notice on the site.
